Beautiful Skin Takes Time

Good skin day is here to stay!

If you’re born with good skin, good for you! But if you’re not, you just have to put in a little more effort than those lucky ones.

“There are no ugly women, only lazy ones” says Helena Rubinstein, entrepreneur and beauty inventor.

Did You Know?

Rubinstein was the one who invented the first moisturizing cream (1902), the first categorization of skin types (1910), the first waterproof mascara (1939), the first preventive anti-ageing product (1956), the first pure Vitamin C based treatment (1995), and many more innovations.

By effort we should keep up with at least a simple basic regimen – one that includes cleansing, moisturizing and protecting the skin daily. But if your skin is more problematic be it in the form of acne, dark spots or sagginess, sometimes skincare alone will not suffice. This is where facial treatments come in to do the job of what is not achievable at home.

So Why Facials?

Consider facials an extension of your skincare routine as they do what you aren’t able to do or didn’t do and much more. Sometimes we don’t wash our face (yes, this happens), we don’t cleanse properly because there may still be makeup residue, dirt and excess sebum are clogged within the pores, or we don’t exfoliate to get rid of dead skin cells. Over time, these can lead to problems like dullness, uneven skin tone, comedones and acne. There are a wide variety of facials and aesthetic treatments ranging from pampering to functional, from deep cleansing, lifting to brightening ones to take care of those skin concerns. Whether the facial is a manual one using hands only or with the aid of machines (like microdermabrasion, lasers, etc.) that work on areas where manual just does not cut it, it is all a matter of preference and what your skin needs.

To ensure your skin is in at its best, weekly exfoliation and a facial at least once a month are recommended.
